I’ve experienced death on multiple levels.

My innocence, for start, was never mine for it was extinct eons ago thru disobedience;  I was condemned by the tongue of my progenitor; the loss of my consort and the abdication of those duties all weighed upon me.

I became impenetrable, indifferent and unresponsive.  The summation of each kill ripped through me and scorched my soul until I burst.  And from death’s ashes I rose, like the phoenix, gathering the burnt twigs, torn threads and pieces of shard and I’ve rebuilt.

 I’ve become effervescent, vivacious and engaged.  I remain in the physical having overcome the spiritual
until death’s finality.
